it is a toxic corroding thread running through all that separates us from ourselves, others, truth, ascension, joy, and on and on. It grows fervently in all addictions because that is where the climate for it to thrive is perfect.

Once it has a hold, it spreads like a mutation into all other areas till all there is is separation.

That is what active addiction can feel like especially at the end - when all the lights have been turned off. There is no desire or impulse to do anything else except MORE.
